Christmas Trees on Houston

Posted on: December 2nd, 2008 by

More holiday spirit on East Houston, as the Christmas tree vendor is now positioned outside of the Whole Foods Bowery. Walk past and inhale the fresh pine smell. Savor the scent, quite the welcome change from the street scum that normally wafts through the air.

    Nice…

Happen to catch what they’re trying to charge for the trees?

The guy last year at the stand along TSP tried to charge me $85…justifying it by saying “they’re charging $125 in Tribeca!”

    sorry, dude. forgot to ask.

$85 is definitely a rip. just go plastic.

Toward the last days they sell for about $20–each–better deal-

I think the sign at the bodega on 14th and A says $30 for a tree….Unless that’s for the Charlie Brown Christmas tree….
