Standing at the intersection of Clinton and Grand in the bulge of Manhattan, the budding skyline of the "new" Lower East Side is quite visible. Just a few buildings tower over everything in sight. And thanks to such obstructions, it's becoming harder to see the Empire State building from this vantage point.
