Subway Mariachi
Seeing panhandling performers on the subway is always a unique experience. Whether it's breakdancers, singer/songwriters, doo-wop groups, or guitarists, it's usually quite impressive how the entertainers maintain balance while on a moving train. Last weekend, a Mariachi band was in my car on the uptown 5. And as usual, most straphangers just stood idly and ignored.

I've seen those guys. They are awesome. I don't usually tip subway people, but they deserved it. Much better than the contortionist rapper with a crappy boom box.
That contortionist rapper was awesome though. I forget which station it was.
oh I love these guys! Anything but those alchies singing doowop. I haven't seen the full car tumblers in a while...
