The neighborhood is a set. Again. Last night, film crews on Orchard Street were wrapping up their all-day shoot for Jack Goes Boating. The movie is a stoner-themed romantic comedy adapted from the off-Broadway show, and features Philip Seymour Hoffman as both star and director. Unfortunately, I was pushed aside before I could snap a clear picture, so the blurry images will need to suffice.


Anytime I see Hoffman, I think of his stellar role as Lester Bangs in Almost Famous.
