If in the neighborhood, watch your step when crossing Rivington at the intersection of Orchard. There’s a deep pothole smack in the middle of the street. Of course, the sub-freezing temperatures and frequent snows aren’t helping matters.

    thanks for the warning. I plan to get drunk at the Holiday :Lounge then walk to the lower east side. This would precipitate a nasty fall!

    Did you call 311 to report it? My experience is 2 weeks after a call to 311 and it’s fixed.
