Over the weekend, we received intel that the Mi Pueblo bodega at 145 Allen was recently shut down by court order. Conclusive details on the closure are rather scant, with no on-site clues to its demise. And phone calls to the number listed go unanswered. However, our reader believes the cause was “selling stolen property.”

Anyone have more information? We would hate to see this establishment vanish, along with its mis-spelled signage.
