Solo Porte

After a seven-month vacancy period, the onetime home of Zamir Furs at 90 W. Houston finally has a new tenant. Meet Solo Porte, an Italian door company with a knack for the peculiar. Looking through the industrial-inspired windows, the showroom seems very small, with only a handful of styles on display.

According to a sales associate at their Brooklyn outpost, the grand opening will be tomorrow. The SoHo location is the company’s fourth, having branches in Massachussetts (Boston), New Jersey (Paramus), and Brooklyn.
