Back in December, Grub St reported that shameless imitator Clinton Papaya at 166 Delancey shuttered for good. Months passed without much to report - until now. The storefront was recently gutted and whitewashed clean, no doubt paving the way for something a bit more "classy."


But there are still a few hurdles to clear, namely this sanitation violation issued by the Environmental Control Board on April 22. While the fine is for a paltry $450, it's still not a great start for the new operation.
