Vendor Victim on Orchard
It's no secret that bargain shopping on Orchard Street north of Delancey is disappearing, thanks in part to boutique hotels and their upscale clientele. One by one, the unique street vendors are shuttering. And now, there is another victim to report - the general apparel store at 167B, adjacent to the Slipper Room. Just another space for rent.
At this rate, the Sunday pedestrian mall will soon become nothing more than a relic of the past.

That leaves a nice chunk of space for something else the neighborhood doesn't want or need.
Hot with anticipation!
My guess is the Slipper Room expands back into the space. Or more boutiques. Boutiques now run this place.
