Feeling Was Mutual

Was Mutual

WaMu semantics continue to entertain. It seems that every couple weeks, the bank marquee at the Delancey branch reads something different, thanks to numerous bulb outages. The message of late says, "Was Mutual."

For example:
Chase - "We always hated you and your lame-ass catch phrases."
WaMu - "Feeling was mutual, dickbag."

Ooo, that's wonderful. I'd find it more hilarious if it wasn't my bank...!

hilarious. Reminds me of a time I was walking through Wash Sq park and after the drug dealer realized I wasn't there to purchase, he said "keep walking dickhead."

Ken, thanks for sharing. I learned never to make eye contact in Washington Square Park for that reason. So many times I'd get the, "yo, you lookin' for trees" bit.

Still happens occasionally, but not like in the past. Maybe once they fully re-open the park.

Try wearing an eye patch! I tried to walk through WSP during all the construction and couldn't see the cyclone fences. Those guys were nice enough to guide me out of the maze...must have been undercovers.
