Houston Headache Lingers

Contrary to our thoughts back in May, the Houston Street Capital Construction Project still lingers. Such Houston Headaches, as it were, continue to plague motorists and pedestrians alike. Between diverted traffic patterns, torn up roadway, and tall fencing, the intersection at Lafayette is one complex clusterfuck. We hope no accidents occur from all this.

I think this is related to the Broadway/Lafayette Subway Station - Bleecker Street Station project. They're connecting the uptown platform to the downtown on the 6, and it's requiring massive groundwork in the area.

Too late. I've seen at least three accidents happen in the past few months - all cab on cab - and I know there have been many more. The blindspots for turning are horrific, I'm surprised that no pedestrians have been killed.
