Grub St reported yesterday that Munchies at 179 Essex seemed to be in dire straights. A sign on their drawn gate earlier this week indicated that the late-night eatery was closed due to "unforeseen maintenance." This morning, though, an updated announcement was put in place:

Dear valued guest, we are still closed for maintenance. We apologize for the inconveniance [sic]. We will be back soon. -Munchies

Obviously their people are reading the neighborhood websites.
