131 Chrystie

Next week, Jack White’s Nashville-based imprint Third Man Records will open a two-day pop-up shop at 131 Chrystie Street. It is a retail stunt to plug the debut record (Horehound) from his side side-project, The Dead Weather. Store hours will be from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Thursday and Friday only. Catalog releases and assorted merchandise from the label’s stable of artists – White Stripes, Raconteurs, Mildred & the Mice, Rachelle Garniez, etc. – will be available. Just watch your step, as recent roadwork has transformed the vicinity into an obstacle course.

131 Chrystie Street is currently home to both the Envoy art gallery (ground level) and taxidermic bar Home Sweet Home (basement).
