Rat Den at 250 Bowery
One major problem with stalled construction projects around the neighborhood is the inevitable transformation to rat den. All too often, the furry critters find glorious haven in the floating trash, twisted rebar, and pools of liquid. Indeed, you may recall the “rat castle” of 179 Ludlow Street, which was initially planned as luxury living.
Keeping with the same theme, it now appears that the former FLAnk Architects worksite at 250 Bowery has become a grazing ground, as evidenced by this poison warning taped to the plywood perimeter. Its downward spiral continues.
