Bowery Boombox

That old school street ingenuity still reigns free on the Bowery.  Indeed, earlier this week, we watched in awe as a pair of sidewalk dwellers meticulously pried open the base of a nearby street lamp to bogart its electric lifeblood.  But not without reasonable cause.  Their nineties-era Sony boombox with detachable speakers needed a proper power supply.  It seems batteries were simply out of the question.
