Going the Distance Looking for “Hipster and Indie Types”

As reported last week, Drew Barrymore and Going the Distance will be filming in our neighborhood this week. If that wasn’t bad enough, the casting crew is currently looking for stereotypical “hipster and indie types” as extras. Translation – sceney trendsters.  So don’t be surprised if you see tons of skinny jeans, skinnier neckties, and ironic handlebar mustaches.

“Central Casting is looking to cast extras for the Drew Barrymore film “Going the Distance”. We are looking for hipster and indie types(you know who you are) to work all day on Monday 8/3. We also have a similar scene shooting Wednesday 8/5. When submitting please include a pic and your contact #. Also indicate which days you are available. Must be available with no conflicts on the day that you are submitting for.”
