Yesterday afternoon, Curbed reported that the Orchard Street Hell Building was back on the market again after a year-long hiatus.  Asking price this time around is a smooth $48.5 million. We ambled past later in the evening and caught glimpse of a sprawling new mural across the otherwise drab sectional plywood. Local artist and longtime LES’er Marco was commissioned to paint his colorfully quirky art on another piece of the neighborhood.  Indeed, residents might recognize his work, as it appears above Bereket and in the windows of Stop One Deli on Stanton.

The mural will reportedly remain in place for about six months.

Fitting Marco's art adorns the HELL building. Like begets like.

This guy is HELL. He's like 50 and has a teenage girlfriend he cheats on ALL the time. He probably has more than one girlfriend he cheats on ALL the time come to think of it. I only know of one he's running around on now though. He got canned from his last job for acting like a frat boy. Had no concept of time, lied all the time, using foul language, not doing any work, treating co-workers like dirt, etc.

Not to mention, his art work is 1 dimensional, flat and looks like as if a 6 year old scribbled it.

Cursed art work for a cursed building. Perfect.
