The Chrystie Cat

The cracked sidewalk outside the restaurant supply company at 18 Delancey is the perfect habitat for wild urban grass and weeds. But more importantly, this lonesome green patch doubles as a rewarding refuge for a neighborhood cat on a steamy evening.
A few nights ago, this plump feline was enjoying the limited late-day shade, and was busy nuzzling the overgrowth. Pedestrians waiting to cross Chrystie Street all stopped to observe and fawn. It sat comfortably unhindered for a New York Minute before a store employee forced it back inside. Alas, we were unable to obtain a proper name.
Might anyone know?
