A Sandwich Shop for 35 Orchard Street

Last night, we came across some open-door renovation at 35 Orchard Street (formerly Kysmo Bike Shop), and learned that this sleepy stretch of real estate will soon gain a sandwich shop.  Inside, a friendly gentleman was busy working on a ladder, and was kind enough to field a few questions about the operation.

The eatery seems to have a more offbeat aesthetic, thanks in part to quirky Dutch doors and a mural by London-based artist Blue Logan. At this point, though, the company name is still hush-hush due to some legal concerns that should be resolved imminently.  Nevertheless, they hope to start serving in roughly three weeks.  Judging by the lack of cooking equipment in the space, it could take longer.
