Maze of Plywood Around Former NYU Catholic Center

Maze of Plywood 58 Washington Square South

A maze of plywood is currently taking shape at 58 Washington Square South, the former site of the NYU Catholic Center.  As we speak, workers are hammering away along the perimeter, installing a “Heavy duty sidewalk shed approximately 140′ long as per plans during new building construction.”  Based on this information, progress toward the alleged seven-story interfaith center is gaining steam.  And a peek behind the walls shows preparations to break ground.
