Pulino’s Bar and Pizzeria Progress Report

Buzz surrounding the under-construction Pulino’s Bar and Pizzeria is at a fever pitch, thanks in part to the appearance of Nate Appleman on The Next Iron Chef (he’s still contending). As a result, scoring a money shot of the interior proved elusive for quite awhile; the foreman is definitely running a tighter ship now. Each day, front and rear access points remain closed to curious eyes, opening only periodically for a shipment of materials from an idling truck at the corner of Houston. Yesterday, we captured a glimpse of the current progress from the backside. Brick arches appear completed, some kitchen equipment seems to be in place, and work has begun on the ceiling and walls.
