128 Hester is No More

The beleaguered tenement which stood at 128 Hester is no more. Just like that. All that remains now is an empty lot deep in the shadow of the ever-rising Wyndham Garden Hotel. So it wasn’t too surprising to see some anti-gentrification vandalism around the corner at 91 Bowery.
Official structural renderings were recently sabotaged by pair of “Yuppie Overlord” bills, each with a close resemblance to the Starbucks logo. The street has spoken.
