For Rent Signs in Place at 95 Delancey
Posted on: November 3rd, 2009 by Elie
It’s been a busy couple months for the row of retail at 95 Delancey, located between Ludlow and Orchard Streets. First the kitschy Triangle Optical signage was removed from its old location, and tossed inside as a mangled mess. No evidence as to why. Then, not too long ago, the A & A Deli closed, leaving Lichtenstein and the office of notorious “slumlord” Baruch Singer as the last remaining tenants of the stretch; the adjacent storefronts seemed to languish behind dusty windows.
But there is movement! Fresh “for rent” signs now in place seem to debunk recent rumors of the building’s impending sale/demolition.
