Stop everything! Emergency Go Go Dancers needed at Grindcore!

We’ve heard of emergency plumbers and emergency medical technicians, but here’s a new one: emergency Go Go dancers. Grindcore Go Go at Identity Bar and Lounge at 511 E. 6th St, between Avenues A and B, is pulling out all the stops in their quest for some ladies willing to dance…for free drinks.

It’s always amusing when promoters want free labor, especially for emergencies. We’re a few days late on this, but we’d have to pass on this offer. Did Erik find his dancer in the end?

Grindcore Go Go is trying to rebuild itself on Sunday nights in a new location on the Lower East Side. Due to a series of events (I’m wondering who’s baby I ate in a former life) we’re down to only one dancer for tonight’s (November 22nd) party. The event is in it’s infancy so there is not much in terms of income but you won’t have to pay for drinks or tip anyone out and it’s a good opportunity to find a party promoter and general contractor indebted to you.

The party happens at Identity Bar and Lounge at 511 E 6th St, between Avenues A and B. Call time is 9 and the performances kick off at 10, but this is obviously flexible. I can be reached through the normal craigslist channels or, in this instance, via my cell at (917) 843-1718.
