Google Maps Has No Love for Doyers or Pell

Google Maps has no love for Doyers or Pell Street; the “street view” function is not available for any address in this narrow slice of Chinatown.  It’s almost as if the roving Google camera car got lost (or lazy) and never had the chance to catalog this section of real estate.

But it’s probably for the best anyway, forcing chair-dwellers to experience the neighborhood in the flesh.

  • you know, it was probably taking too long to have to go all the way around the block again to get these streets photographed, too much congestion, google probably gave up hahahah
  • I like to think of those rare streets where Google hasn't gone as last frontiers. Lets be grateful for the areas unexplored by big google.

    That said, I love Google of course, it's just some things are cooler when they aren't mapped.
