Teany on Road to Recovery

It’s been nigh on six months since a late-night fire broke out in 90 Rivington Street, effectively sidelining Teany for the duration. At the time, it was reported that the blaze started on the second or third floor and spread down to the restaurant. Thankfully, no one was hurt. But now Moby’s vegan grub spot is on the road to recovery.
The security gates have been raised for some time, but there wasn’t much else to report. Then last night, we scored a fleeting glimpse of the renovation in progress. Behind the plastic-shielded window panes, the air appears rather dusty, sheets of plywood are stacked on sawhorses, and random tools are scattered about. It’s a carpenter’s wet dream.
