Work at 60 Orchard Street Reactivated

Before last February, an art gallery was located at 60 Orchard Street. A wrecking ball was employed to redecorate, and completed its endeavor admirably. Then there was a period of radio silence. But now the crews have been reactivated at the four-story construction site, tasked with doubling its current height as prescribed in DOB permits acquired last June.  More condos, anyone?

Yesterday morning the weather-worn plywood was temporarily cleared aside, revealing a clear view of the gutted space. From front to back.  Also, just as we arrived, the scaffolding team was preparing to add its stamp to the block.
