The season of discarded Christmas trees blocking city streets and sidewalks is now in full effect, so watch your step!
If you are looking to trash your tree, though, please consider “tree-cycling” at the MulchFest this weekend, between 10 am and 2 pm. Participating parks in the neighborhood include Corlears Hook Park, Tompkins Square Park, El Jardin Del Paraiso, and the 20th Street Loop in Stuy Town.
