Assembly New York and Robert Geller Open The Key at 129 Rivington

The Lower East Side Locksmith at 129 Rivington has been out of commission for months now. Another mom-and-pop hardware store gone the way of the dodo.  From its ashes rises a new pop-up shop (surprise, surprise) aptly entitled The Key Shop.  It’s essentially a joint venture between Assembly New York, currently located at 174 Ludlow, and designer Robert Geller. Meanwhile, the original signage remains in place.

The Key Shop officially opened yesterday, and will remain until sometime in April.  And according to The Essential Man, Geller’s Spring 2010 collection is the main offering.

  • A little correction, it's named "The Key Shop". Thanks for the post!
