Teany Will Reopen Next Week
Ever since a fire crippled Teany last June, the vegan cafe has been on the ropes. Not anymore. Last night, the doors were wide open, advertising a pristine sheen, as if to proclaim, we’re back.
Indeed they are. Restaurant personnel on hand confirmed that the below-grade Teany will reopen sometime next week. Which no doubt explains the flurry of activity at 90 Rivington – outside one man was whitewashing some unsightly blemishes with his paint roller while his cohort was busy preparing the interior.
