Ramen Kuidouraku Reveals Itself at 121 Ludlow

A week later, we now know the identity of the noodle shop to replace the long dormant Chickie Pig’s at 121 Ludlow. Yup, it appears to be the second downtown location of Ramen Kuidouraku. A poster on the door reveals this intel, along with sumptuous pictures of the cuisine.

Meanwhile, the narrow space of exposed brick is starting to sport some definition. Small picnic tables will be the mode of seating, with the kitchen off to the right.  No word yet on opening date, but it might become a BYOB establishment. Indeed, Community Board 3 nixed their application for a beer and wine license for being in a “resolution area.” Three other licenses are within 500 feet.
