The recent onslaught of Subway restaurants across the neighborhood continues in earnest. As we reported last month, the Avalon Chrystie is poised to host its very own franchise at 229 Chrystie Street, right alongside Whole Foods. While little activity has transpired to prepare the fast food joint for action, official signage is now in place.

Considering all the building’s garbage ends up mere steps from the entrance, we are not looking forward to the smells here. The inevitable olfactory cocktail of street-baked trash and faux bread will be quite overwhelming. But there is still time…

So, where in the neighborhood do you think Subway will open its next outpost?
