New York Hardcore Tattoos Channels CBGB

CBGB has been dead and gone for almost four years, but one Lower East Side tattoo parlor is channeling its spirit.  Within the last week or so, New York Hardcore Tattoos at 127 Stanton Street installed a new awning that very much resembles the signage of the iconic rock dive.

The rounded design of the canopy itself, the ruffled vinyl trimming, and the pointed lettering all equate to a near-direct match. Pretty much copyright infringement, except the red has been substituted with a blue color scheme. Punk lives?
