Graffiti in Augmented Reality via ARstreets

Even in a virtual world, graffiti is a reality. Such is the case with the new geocentric graffiti-based app called ARstreets.  Using augmented reality, iPhoners can tag the shit out of any building or business in this virtual world. All activity then synchs up with your social media streams – Twitter, Foursquare, and Facebook.  Yes, people, it has come to this.

Needless to say, the chances that this app curbs real graffiti are probably quite slim.  It’s just a game.  Indeed, skateboarders don’t all of a sudden stop grinding pavement just because they play Tony Hawk on the side.
