Coming Soon: Panade Cafe at 132 Eldridge Street

Posted on: December 1st, 2010 by

In 2006, public school teacher turned baker Yvette Ho opened Panade at 129 Eldridge Street, serving a variety of custom puffs, pastries, sandwiches, and beverages. Four years later, the snackery is transitioning to a related culinary concept, and with it, a change in venue.  Thanksgiving was to be the last day at this location.

An announcement in the window of the former space indicates that the business will move across the street to 132A Eldridge, where renovations are nearly complete.  In the process, the bakery will become Panade Cafe, a seemingly natural extension of what Ho has already done for the last four years.  The menu received a slight facelift and, much as before, the food remains budget-conscious (nothing above $10).
