Sign Standoff at 154 Orchard Street

As one regular reader notes with the following photo, a retail duel is afoot between Annie Havlicek and David Owens of 154 Orchard Street.  Both threads-bearers share a common address, and the steel stairway has become something of a sign standoff, as it were.

The opposing arrows arrived here within the last few weeks, and appear to be more competitive jest than anything else.  Humorous, but not laugh-out-loud funny like this clip:
