Nameless Coffee Shop at 182 Allen to Officially Open Friday

If you pass by 182 Allen Street, you might notice the paper in the windows.  We spoke with co-owner Ronny Kaj yesterday afternoon, who informed us that last weekend was actually the soft opening of the nameless coffee shop at 182 Allen Street.  To meet the neighbors. The cafe will be closed for last-minute prep the next two days, but will officially reopen on Friday.

Ronny Kaj and co-owner Per Inglander are both behind this java concept, which has its roots in Brooklyn.  We were also told that the company grinds its own beans, which taste much less acidic than what’s offered in most places.  It’s a lighter, less “burned” experience.
