Hester Street Fair to Return May 7

By all accounts, the Hester Street Fair was a huge success last year, attracting a slew of local vendors and restaurants to Seward Park. There was a doughnut contest, a Halloween carnival, a food festival by Grub St, and the local Greenmarket.  Then came the deep freeze.

But with winter finally nearing its end, foodies and market-goers can revel in the news that the Hester Street Fair will return on Saturday, May 7 for its second season.  Primary organizer Suchin Pak officially announced the date yesterday afternoon.  More concrete details are forthcoming.
