“The Rememberer” Filming on Norfolk Street Today
Now nearing the end of March, the frequency of filming on the Lower East Side is on the rise, and today is no exception. Indeed, this is reportedly the season for producing pilots. Time to add one more. Later this afternoon, yet another new CBS show called The Rememberer will be shooting scenes mere blocks from the How to Make it in America set. Those seemingly ubiquitous “no parking” signs are duct-taped to street furniture along Essex and and Norfolk Streets.

The Rememberer is part of the CBS upfront for 2011-2012, and falls in line with their bread-and-butter programming. Yes, another procedural cop drama. The pilot was penned by Ed Redlich and John Bellucci, and inspired by author Robert Lennon’s short story about a female NYPD detective with special cognitive powers. She never forgets.
