New Chico Mural at LoHo Realty Grand Street Concierge

Chico is most definitely busy with the spray cans this summer. A day after completing his week-long tropical re-branding of El Nuevo Amanecer, the iconic Lower East Side artist was spotted painting a temporary tenement-heavy piece at the new LoHo Realty Concierge at 397 Grand Street. This latest news comes on the heels of discovering a ghost advert for the real estate company on Attorney Street, which was thrown up by Meres One in 2005.

In the last three months, Chico has painted numerous murals around the neighborhood.  New artwork includes, among others, the Royal Wedding on East Houston, Lower East Side Clothing Co. ads, and a tribute to the late great Gil Scott Heron north on 12th Street.
