Hells Angels Biker Bash at Bowery Electric Yesterday

It was a rather striking dichotomy on the Bowery – well-heeled Peels diners chowing down brunch versus an impressive armada of Harleys.  Donning layers of leather, ink, and studs, dozens of bikers gathered at the Bowery Electric for the annual Hells Angels Biker Bash. Hogs from all across the Five Boroughs were in attendance, parking up both sides of the Bowery and eliciting plenty of stares…and cameras (“Just don’t shoot the license plates”).

Some were seen yelling at passing motorists who gave a wrong look, but most were civil.  At least early in the afternoon when we ambled past.
