We are super-stoked to have won Best Neighborhood Blog at last night’s 2nd annual Village Voice Web Awards!  It was a tough playing field, up against some great competition, including Jeremiah’s Vanishing New York, Fucked in Park Slope, and West Side Rag. Many thanks to the Voice for organizing the event and bestowing us the honor.

And an even bigger thank you to our dedicated readership for the continued support.  As always, it is you who inspires us here at Bowery Boogie, and we are most appreciative.

We’re still trying to contain our excitement…

Cafe Henrie, the artsy eatery founded by nightlife maven (and street artist) Andre Saraiva on Forsyth Street, closed earlier this week. Thus capping two years on the block.
