“A Gifted Man” and Commercial Filming Today

It’s a jam-packed day of filming on the Lower East Side today.  Both a television show and cologne commercial will occupy a large swath of the neighborhood, the first shoots of the new year.

First up is CBS and their mystical medical drama A Gifted Man.  The production, last seen in these parts back in early September, is set to re-invade the territory east of Essex and north of Delancey.  Judging by the placement of filming flyers, it appears the bulk of activity will be in and around Attorney Street.

Meanwhile, further to the west on Allen Street, a separate crew will simultaneously be filming a commercial for some Tommy Hilfiger cologne. So we are told.

Any way you slice it, inconvenience is likely the operative word here.
