Royal Jewelry Heist on the Bowery
Last Wednesday morning, 84 Bowery was the unfortunate victim of a jewelry heist. An unspecified number of armed robbers reportedly entered the old-school Royal Jewelry Center at 10:30 am and peeled out with an unknown quantity of (Bowery) booty. According to the police blotter in this week’s Villager, the criminals had been sitting curbside in a car with Florida license plates before the holdup.
