Sons of Essex Releases New Video

Posted on: January 18th, 2012 by

In its short three-month life thus far, it appears Sons of Essex is having great success with its restaurant concept. Users on social media outlets and various foodie websites gush over the 133 Essex Street newbie (Exhibit A; Exhibit B; Exhibit C), which uses antiques and other scavenged goods to channel that old New York vibe. Sources say the casual vibes foremost attract the neighborhood locals, but also cater to the A-list clientele.

Ever the promoters, the team behind Sons of Essex is following up their first “Lower East Side Is…” with a new clip boasting a little behind-the-scenes during New Year’s Eve. A Boogie tipster sent along the footage, which is scored with the Beastie Boys track, “An Open Letter to NYC.” Where’s Waldo?

I haven’t been as yet, but I’ve heard nothing but good reviews.  I’m looking forward to eating there soon.

Actually, they had like 2 stars on Yelp and much disgust until the every-so-sly owner decided to host a “Yelp Event” AKA underhanded way of getting people (“Yelpers”) to come and lavish them with food and attention so that they give them a good review.

    looks like a douchbag trap.
