A little Lower East Side Catch Me if You Can action transpired on Delancey Street not long ago.

Authorities say that a teenager entered the Chase branch at Essex Street on December 30 and tried to cash a phony check with forged signature for $73,000.  The Post reports that 18-year-old Patrick Lattamore was quickly found out by bank employees, and charged with grand larceny, criminal possession of a forged instrument, and identity theft.
