NBC’s “Notorious” Scouting Rivington Street

Barely a week removed from the occupation of Now You See Me on the Lower East Side, we are finally catching our collective breath.  Now this. Location scouts are circling the battered carcass of Rivington Street for a new NBC pilot called Notorious.  To answer your question – no, it’s not a show about Biggie.

According to a printout in the entrance of 158 Rivington Street, said scouts are looking for the perfect apartment to “film some scenes for one day on or around Friday, 30 March.” They don’t wanna be above the second level, though.  We’ll see what happens.

Notorious is a new NBC drama being described as an “opulent soap.” Here’s the plot description via Deadline:

Written by Liz Heldens, Notorious is described as an opulent soap in which detective Joanna Locasto returns undercover to the wealthy and troubled Lawson family she grew up in — as the housekeeper’s daughter — to solve the murder of celebutante Vivian Lawson, who was once her closest friend.
