New Chinatown Bus Station at 62 Allen
The competition is fierce. Since lower Allen/Pike Street is the unofficial Chinatown bus district, it makes sense that another ticket office-cum-waiting room would open along the corridor. The latest competitor to jump into this already crowded ring – Muti Bus Services at 62 Allen Street.

This former seafood wholesaler was recently gutted and replaced with a white-walled empty shell of its former self. Naught but a front desk, one long bench, and rear bathrooms. In fact, it could be confused with so many of the galleries popping up around the neighborhood. Anyway, bright new signage arrived within the last couple weeks, flooding the area with green light.
