With TG170 Gone, 77 Ludlow Becomes Temporary Project Space
The grave is still fresh. It’s been exactly two months since the twenty-year-old TG170 closed its store at 77 Ludlow Street (a/k/a 243 Broome), which became refuge after high rents forced the business from its original namesake location further up the road. Now this corner retail spot has become a temporary “project space.” At least until something with cash money can move here. Our money is on another gallery.

In the meantime, a temporary gallery exhibit curated by one Sarah Crown is taking place here for the weekend. The opening party is tonight.
