As of Saturday evening, the Beastie Boys are now officially hall of famers in the eyes of the rock and roll community. We popped the cork, so to speak, on Monday by mining the classic Yo! MTV Raps clip that was shot on the Bowery in 1988. Now, to further mark the occasion, DJ Mick Boogie assembled his own homage to the city-based trio – a mixtape of Beastie Boys cuts called “Grand Royal.”  Cover was shot by photographer Jonathan Mannion, whose credits also include Jay-Z, Eminem, and Lil Wayne.
